Check-in counter closing times are slightly earlier at Suvarnabhumi (BKK): 40 min for domestic, 50 min for international, compared to other airports.
At Phuket (HKT) and Chiang Mai (CNX), check-in counters close 30 min before domestic and 40 min before international departure.
Travel Tips
Self-check-in kiosks are available at major airports and operate from 24 hours up to 1 hour before departure. Online and self-service check-in is not available for some special cases such as unaccompanied minors or passengers requiring special assistance.
Always have your passport or ID, your e-ticket or booking code, and the payment card used for booking ready for check-in and at security.
Be at the boarding gate at least 30 minutes before departure (domestic) or 40 minutes (international). Boarding gates close 15 minutes before scheduled departure. Late arrival results in denied boarding.
